Welcome to the new website of the Cuey Machar Secondary school Foundation (CMSF). This Foundation is founded by Kon Kelei, a former child soldier from Southern Sudan. The mission of CMSF is to enable secondary schooling for South Sudanese boys and girls. Students in The Netherlands, where Kon lived after fleeding Sudan, help him to realize his dream. CMSF hopes that the education, which these Sudanese children will receive, helps them to rebuild their war-torn country and will give all Sudanese a better future. Right now, the Foundation is building a secondary school in Cuey Machar, a village eleven kilometers from the city Bor. Once the construction of the school is finished, CMSF will start executing the second part of the project, which includes making furniture for the school.

Mario Balotelli, the Italian international and player of Manchester City, has decided to donate his fee as international football testimonial for the Gazzetta dello Sport advertising campaign to the Cuey Machar Secondary School Foundation! 1 December 2010 / Four new movies uploaded!

We put four new movies on our movie page. It includes an interview with the commissioner of Bor and one of Kon in front of the school in Sudan!

1 November 2010 / Letter Commissioner Bor

Before CMSF started at the project in Sudan, the Foundation got a lot of support from the locals. Thanks to this support CMSF could start with the construction of the building in 2008. To affirm this support, CMSF recently got a official letter from the mayor of the region of Bor. In this letter he confirms a longterm support and aknowledgement of our school!
